Business Coaches . . . Another Way to Get New Clients?
Business coach, here’s a great way to get in front of more prospects.
What keywords do your prospects use to advertise their business on their website?
I’m assuming that you help your clients get more clients, become more profitable, increase income while reducing hours and work, find the break through’s they want and need for their business, etc.
So, when your prospects, clients, have turned on a new website, or new web page it’s very likely they are looking for one of those things.
By creating a list of keywords that your target prospects are using to do what they want with their website, then turning on a Google Alert for those keywords, you’ll be notified as soon as a new website pops up with that target in mind. You’ll have a list of your target prospects.
Send an email to each of those people, not to sell them coaching, but telling them you saw their website and what you liked about it, or what got your attention. Arrange to meet with them live, or on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn. Be there to help them what they are looking for. You can tell that from looking at their website.
Then, when you meet them live or by email or any of those other ways, your job is to help them get it . . . for free. Be there for them. The more you give the more clients you will get from this approach.
Ask questions, “What is it you’d really like to have for your business?” “What is your IDEAL client and where would I find one to bring to you?”
Invite them to local networking events; invite them to seminars, workshops you do. Whether you charge for those semianrs or not, let them come to a one time event for free. The more you give the more you will get.
Your job is to be there to help everyone get what they want. Show them how good you are at doing that; build relationships by helping people get what they want.
The ultimate result will be that some of them will become clients, and many of them will refer you to others while telling everyone just how good you are. You’ll have a fan club spreading the word. It’s much more effective having someone else tell how good you are, and also multiplying that message into 20, 30, possibly 100’s talking about you.
