Getting Coaching Clients – – It’s Not a Black Art… You Can Get EXACTLY the Number of Clients

Hey coach! Have you been struggling to get clients?

Was marketing one of your core strengths when you started coaching?

Marketing the Black Art Way… Casting a Net Out and Hoping

The way that most coaches and consultants do their marketing is a little bit like black magic. say some incantation and you hope and pray that someone will get caught in your net. There’s nothing exact about it that way. There is a lot of hoping and praying when getting coaching clients.

Do you try a little of this and a little of that and not much is happening. It’s darned frustrating when you work so hard, and you think “They just can’t turn this down.” But they do. It’s so darned frustrating!

It’s SOOO Frustrating

In fact, you’ve been doing this for long enough that you should have gotten it right, and SHOULD be making a living at this by now.

Well, you aren’t abnormal. The statistics are that most coaches don’t ever make more than $20K. But the opportunities are there. Some coaches are getting as many clients as they want, even during this recession so why not you?

Marketing, when you cast a net out and hope without knowing what will make the difference it’s just plain frustrating… and painful. But, marketing, when done right, has a scientific result. It can deliver EXACTLY the number of coaching clients you want each and every week.

Marketing Formula — Land EXACTLY the Number of Coaching Clients You Want Each and Every Week

  • Let’s look at the marketing formula. It says that
The number of people that see your marketing
  • times
  • the conversion rate of your marketing (that’s due to what you say, how you say it, and who you say it to)
  • equals
  • The number of leads, contacts, or sales you get EACH and EVERY WEEK.

That means that we can work that formula backward to determine the activities that are necessary to deliver the number of coaching clients you want each and every week.

Have you been actively working the formula? Or did you know there was such a thing?

Evaluate how you’ve been marketing.

  1. Do you know how many coaching clients you’ve got to land each and every week to get the income you want this year?
  2. Do you know what your conversion rate is when you touch someone? How many out of every 10 that you touch want to talk to you (to meet with you about getting your help)? (Let’s separate marketing response from sales results. Marketing results are when you touch someone that didn’t know you before and got them to want to talk to you. Sales results are when you take that interested party and turn then into a paying client.).
  3. When you touch them for the first time, are you touching one at a time, or are you touching hundreds, or even thousands? What do you think will be different between touching one, versus touching thousands. Take a look at the marketing funnel before you answer that.
  4. How many are you touching each and every week?
  5. Do you have a simple system to touch as many as you need each and every week? Is the system on near autopilot, running even when you are distracted, or busy elsewhere.Just imagine the number of coaching clients that you want each and every week automatically landing in your lap, calling you……. HINT: You want them CHASING you instead of you chasing them. Hasn’t it been frustrating chasing after them, and wouldn’t it feel so much better to have them not only CHASING after you, but the right number of them to constantly deliver the income you WANT. You aren’t here to wait and see how much you could make with your coaching. Let’s design your coaching business to deliver the income you want.
  6. Is your system PREDICTABLE. Every time you touch the number of people in your system, you get EXACTLY the number of clients you WANT this week.
  7. Do you have a website that delivers 10 or more calls a month?
  8. Do you have an article marketing, and/or a program of speaking X times a month, and/or a direct mail program… and whatever you do you KNOW that every time you do it at that rate, there will be EXACTLY the number of clients you want coming out of it?
  9. Do you have a core marketing message that is more than “I am a coach”, and when you say what you say whether it’s in networking, or speaking, or direct mail, or the website, that it causes 10% to 30% of those you touch to give you a call

If you do have that system clients seem to just fall out each and every week at the rate you designed it to do.

I’m repeating something I said above because it’s so important.

HINT:

  • Your marketing should result in them CHASING you instead of you chasing them.
  • Hasn’t it been frustrating chasing after them, and wouldn’t it feel so much better to have them not only CHASING after you, but the right number of them to constantly deliver the income you WANT.
  • You aren’t here to wait and see how much you could make with your coaching. Let’s design your coaching business to deliver the income you want.

  • Having owned Magix Mobile Movie Creator, it’s great to see what others think about the various others. Do you plan on doing a comparison?

  • Hi just came across your site and have been browsing around some of your posts and just wondering why you chose a WordPress site dont you find it hard to do anything with? Been thinking about starting one.
